Built by a Pilot, for Pilots
When I started preparing for my BZF-E exam in Germany, I quickly realised something: despite how structured and efficient aviation is here, the study material felt stuck in the past. The official preparation still relies heavily on static PDFs and printed papers. Useful? Sometimes.
Practical in 2025? Not really.
The official PDF contained all the questions... but with one major flaw: every correct answer was "A". It helped me memorise the layout, not the knowledge. And that's not how any pilot should train for radio communication.
So I did what any pilot-developer would do: I built my own solution. A modern, interactive, mobile-first tool that actually helps you learn.
At first, it was just for me. Then I shared it with a few other pilots preparing for the BZF-E. They trained with it. They improved. They passed.
That's when it clicked: if this app made our preparation easier and more effective, why not make it available to every future pilot in Germany?
Today, AZF/BZF Trainer is the modern alternative to outdated PDFs and thick printed question banks. Designed by someone who took the exam, tested by real pilots, and focused entirely on helping you succeed efficiently.
And because I believe your data belongs to you: the app collects nothing. No account, no tracking, no analytics. Your progress stays on your device — private by design.
Born from real exam frustration.
A smarter way to prepare for the German AZF / BZF.
Ready to replace paper with something that actually works.
